Wuxing district served as a highlight for the later part of the marathon. The course was optimized from last year, integrating Wuxing's urban landscape and springtime scenery. Runners traversed the picturesque Xishanyang wetland scenic area, a green oasis, and the modern Wuxing Avenue, culminating at the tennis center, a new city landmark.
In a thrilling finish, Chinese runner Huang Renwei claimed the men's full marathon title with a time of 2 hr 18 min 55 sec. "This is my first time participating in a competition in Huzhou, and the scenery was breathtaking," Huang said.
The event showcased not only the runners' athletic prowess but also the city's hospitality, with enthusiastic spectators and comprehensive support ensuring a successful marathon.
