The seventh Zhejiang Outdoor Sports Conference was held from April 10 to 12 in the Mogan Mountain scenic area of Deqing county in Huzhou, Zhejiang province, aiming to promote the development of Zhejiang's outdoor sports industry.

The event attracted representatives from the General Administration of Sport of China and sports departments from Shanghai, Jiangsu, Anhui, Jilin, and Guangxi, alongside over 100 leading outdoor brands, highlighting Zhejiang's growing influence in the national outdoor sports scene.

This year's conference marked the debut of the mountain trail race, the Ultra-Trail Mogan by UTMB (Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc), drawing nearly 5,000 runners, including 615 inbound participants.

Significant industry developments included the global launch of Porsche's Bozi Mountain Run 001 route. Huzhou's sports bureau also signed a strategic partnership with Baishan's sports bureau to promote the winter sports industry, leveraging Changbai Mountain's snowy landscapes in Jilin province.

The conference facilitated industry exchanges, with the Trend Sports and Outdoor Brands Night fostering collaboration.

Beyond competition, the event spurred consumer engagement with activities such as the "Wheels in the Wild" cycling event and an orienteering race.

The conference attracted over 30,000 participants, generating direct economic benefits of 20 million yuan ($2.93 million).
