Pouring oil, heating the wok, stir‑frying with precision - each movement flows as smoothly as that of a seasoned home chef. But this time, the chef is a robot. From plating dishes to setting the table and cleaning up, the entire workflow runs autonomously, marking a leap from smart appliances to a fully unmanned kitchen.

On March 11, Ningbo's leading enterprise Fotile showcased this breakthrough in Shanghai at the World Intelligent Kitchen Ecosystem Conference, where the world's first robotic cooking kitchen made its debut.

At the heart of the system is Fotile's self-developed assisted cooking system (ACS ), which integrates sensing, decision-making, and execution.

Equipped with infrared thermal imaging, high-precision vision, and weight sensors, the system can monitor ingredient conditions and cooking temperatures in real time. Its AI flavor model, built on the DeepSeek large model, analyzes ingredient combinations and cooking techniques to optimize taste. Robotic arms and automated seasoning units then execute the cooking process with high precision.

The company also released the Global Smart Kitchen Innovation and Development White Paper, which introduces a five-level capability framework for smart kitchens, ranging from basic intelligent functions to fully autonomous systems capable of continuous learning and evolution.

Fotile said it will further collaborate with partners in healthcare, real estate, and smart-device ecosystems to integrate kitchens with health management, smart homes, and community services.
