Huzhou showcases its cultural and tourism appeal

The Huzhou municipal bureau of culture, radio, television, and tourism hosted the Huzhou@TheWorld event on May 18, celebrating both International Museum Day and China Tourism Day 2026, and highlighting the city's cultural and tourism appeal.

A key feature was the inauguration of the Huzhou Cultural Tourism Promotion Center in Hong Kong, set to serve as a vital promotional platform for Hong Kong and international markets.

The event included a personal narrative approach, with international student Maleyka from Ethiopia presenting "My Story with Huzhou". She highlighted the city's rich and diverse cultural offerings, including the Jean-Pierre Chevassus-Agnes Jiangnan Sketch Exhibition in Huzhou.

Jin Qi, a teacher at Huzhou Vocational and Technical College, shared experiences as a volunteer providing tourism services for international tourists, emphasizing Huzhou's hospitality.

In anticipation of the summer tourism peak, the event unveiled Huzhou's seasonal Summer Water Fun tourism offerings, featuring water parks, leisure activities, sports, rafting, and more.

Additionally, a virtual museum tour at the event showcased the charm of immersive digital exhibitions.

The Huzhou municipal bureau of culture, radio, television, and tourism also signed strategic agreements with the Trip Cultural Tourism Industry Alliance and Nanjing Lukou International Airport, while partnering with insurance companies to ensure market support.
