Huzhou in Zhejiang province, with a tea history spanning millennia, continues to shine brightly today thanks to its thriving industries.

The city boasts over 31,000 hectares of tea plantations, producing more than 7,400 metric tons of tea annually, with a total industry output of 6.69 billion yuan ($975.92 million).

Tea in Huzhou transcends mere consumption, offering a cultural experience. The "Huzhou Old Teahouse", once a century-old residence, serves as a nostalgic retreat for locals and a cultural attraction for tourists, where visitors can enjoy traditional performances, savor local teas, and experience the unique charm of Huzhou's tea culture.

Huzhou's tea industry also extends beyond agriculture, integrating tourism and innovation. The "Sky Tea" attraction in Changxing county combines local and international flavors, drawing visitors to its scenic tea fields. Meanwhile, Anji county's Huangdu village, known for its Anji white tea, exemplifies the successful integration of the tea industry and tourism, with a combined market that enhances visitor experiences.
