The 44th Milano International FICTS Festival was held in Milan, Italy, on November 2. Against the Tide, a documentary jointly produced by Zhejiang International Communication Center (ZICC) and its partners, won the Candido Cannavò Award for Olympic Spirit.
A team from Shanghai International Studies University (SISU)'s Backpack Journalists Program, attended the festival and conducted on-site interviews focusing on the documentary. The four students spoke with festival staff, international filmmakers, participating film teams, and audience members to explore different interpretations of sportsmanship and capture how a Chinese sports story resonated with international audiences.
