Yuhuan exporters see strong overseas demand

Yuhuan, a county-level city in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, is seeing rising overseas demand, with local exporters receiving strong orders and expanding capacity to keep up.

Zhejiang Japheth Pump Industry, based in Yuhuan, has orders booked through early next year. In the first eight months of 2024, its output value climbed about 40 percent year-on-year, with exports accounting for 70 percent of its output value. Its products now reach 50 countries, with the Middle East and Central Asia as key markets.

To meet demand for deep-well water extraction in these regions, Japheth Pump has upgraded its pumps with 304 food-grade stainless steel, improving corrosion and salt-alkali resistance. Rising orders have also prompted the company to accelerate digital and intelligent upgrades, add equipment and talent, and develop new products.

Ahead of the upcoming China Import and Export Fair, Japheth Pump is upgrading production lines and processing techniques to raise daily capacity and ensure timely delivery.

Zhejiang Sunfly HVAC Intelligent Control, also based in Yuhuan, has developed mixing-water systems for Western Europe, Russia, Eastern Europe, and the Balkans, while exploring the Nordic market. It has also added more than 20 pieces of production equipment to expand capacity.
