The South Garden of the Wenzhou Garden Expo Park in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, is open for a trial run, offering free entry. This ecological paradise combines horticulture, lifestyle, and nature education, providing a unique experience for families and friends.
Visitors can immerse themselves in the natural beauty and architectural ingenuity of the South Garden. Although not yet fully open, the Weirui Pavilion impresses with its shell-like design nestled in the green valley.
Nearby, the Green Valley Flower Street (Green Valley Study Base) features structures with natural curves that harmonize with the waterfront, set to become a new hub for eco-dining and floral education.
A standout feature is the 390-meter-long elevated walkway. Its gentle slope and expansive views from the observation platform offer a breathtaking panorama of the South Garden.

Adding to the allure is AirCafe, housed in a large airplane, serving aviation-themed drinks and snacks. "Since the North Garden's trial opening, we've been operating, and our offerings, priced between 10 to 30 yuan (around $1 to $4), are popular with locals and tourists," said Li Jian, AirCafe's manager.
During the trial period, the park is promoting green travel by banning private vehicles. Visitors can move between the North and South Gardens via paid sightseeing buses or by walking across the Yunyi Bridge. The buses run every 15 minutes between 9 am to 5 pm.
The trial operation of the North and South Gardens will both last until March 14.
