Taizhou companies are set to explore new business opportunities in Hong Kong, as the city in East China's Zhejiang province recorded solid trade growth in 2025.

The city's latest push will begin on Jan 12, when a delegation of 30 Taizhou-based enterprises will participate in the 52nd HKTDC Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair and the 17th HKTDC Hong Kong Baby Products Fair at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, both of which run until Jan 15.

Among the exhibitors is Taizhou Jesontoys Technology from Huangyan district, a company specializing in children's musical toys that primarily exports to the United States and the European Union. At this year's fair, Jesontoys will showcase 15 new products, including a piano toy made with German-imported wood, water-based paint, and other eco-friendly materials.

Similarly, Idesigns International Holdings has undergone a green transformation. The company, which manufactures home decor and holiday gifts, will showcase new products made from eco-friendly corn starch-based materials at the fair. Idesigns' strategy to minimize its environmental impact also features recyclable packaging and a streamlined supply chain.

Looking ahead, Taizhou aims to strengthen the integration of its manufacturing industry with cross-border e-commerce, overseas warehousing, and other new business models, hoping to further promote its products globally.
