Dialogue | Nicola Masini shared how remote sensing aids heritage protection

On October 18, at the sub-forum "Cultural Roots: Timeless Wisdom and Contemporary Value of Ancient Civilizations" of the third Liangzhu Forum, Nicola Masini, Research Director at CNR-ISPC, shared applications of remote sensing technology in the investigation and conservation of large archaeological complexes and historical architectural heritage. He said that both Italy and China possess many sites inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and the two countries can collaborate to explore approaches for managing cultural heritage using remote sensing and artificial intelligence. #LiangzhuForum #CulturalDialogue
