The 3rd Liangzhu Forum opens in Hangzhou

The 3rd Liangzhu Forum opened in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, on Oct 18, with the theme of "Revitalization of Civilization: Cultural Heritage and Human Culture Diversity".

The forum, co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the National Cultural Heritage Administration, and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, is being attended by more than 300 participants with foreign guests coming from more than 60 countries and regions, including heads of cultural heritage protection and management institutions, museum directors, archaeologists, and historians.

The participants will conduct in-depth discussions and exchange experiences in world cultural heritage protection in the four sub-forums, with topics including the wisdom of ancient civilizations, archaeological site protection, museum innovation, and world cultural heritage preservation.

During the forum, cultural activities such as the Liangzhu cultural and creative products market and the "Light of Liangzhu" special concert by Chinese and US symphony orchestras will also be held.
