A Bridge of Promise: Their Stories ④ | Eastern and Western medicine can join hands

The year 2025 marks the 25th anniversary of the sister-province relationship between Zhejiang Province and West Flanders, Belgium. Following the release of the documentary A Bridge of Promise by Zhejiang Daily Press Group, Zhejiang International Communication Center, and Belgian Focus & WTV, a series of short videos titled A Bridge of Promise: Their Stories has been launched. These videos showcase the achievements and heartwarming stories of cooperation between the two provinces.

The fourth episode focuses on healthcare. The two provinces maintain frequent exchanges in this field, with mutual visits by experts, shared technologies, and ever-closer collaboration — including growing cooperation in the integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine.

Three doctors from West Flanders, Belgium, shared their views on integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine, building Zhejiang–Belgium sister hospitals, and other areas of cooperation. They also expressed high expectations for the future of medical collaboration between China and Belgium.
