BE Art Museum, opened on Sept 26 in Wupu village, Huzhou, Zhejiang province, has become a new venue for the "The World Is So Big, My Home Is Beautiful" International Children's Art Exhibition.

The FAO Representation in China, the China Evening News Photography Society, the China Beijing Laoshe Art and Culture Foundation, and the exhibition committee jointly organized the exhibition.

Wupu has also developed the BE Children's Art Zone, drawing on the cultural heritage of the Taihu Lougang irrigation and drainage system and Zhili town's childrenswear industry. This zone includes the museum, a small theater, and an artist residency, supporting children's art, visitor experiences, and rural development.

The 2026 Huzhou exhibition, themed "I Am Nature's Little Friend", also opened on Sept 26. Kong Fangang, chairman of the organizing committee, said the touring exhibition began 10 years ago in Zundert, the Netherlands, with more than 30 works by Chinese children. Having visited more than 100 cities in over 10 countries, it now receives over 5,000 submissions worldwide each year, with nearly 1,000 works selected in 2026.

At the exhibition's opening, organizers donated art supplies while children created an environmental-themed scroll and viewed works combining children's art with the traditional craft of painting on clay surfaces.
