A group of international visitors began their two-day "Hi China! My China Story" field trip on Sept 28 in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province.
The group first visited the Nanhu Revolutionary Memorial Hall, where they viewed an exhibition themed on the Red Boat, a vessel associated with the founding history of the Communist Party of China, examined historical materials and restored scenes, and recorded their experiences.
During a discussion afterward, the visitors, who have lived and studied in Zhejiang for years, exchanged views on how a small boat was linked to the founding of the CPC and how the Red Boat spirit, a revolutionary spirit associated with the CPC's founding, remains relevant today.
The group also visited Haiyan county and the county-level cities of Haining and Tongxiang to learn about rural development, intangible cultural heritage, and digital progress.
