2026 China (Jinhua Mountain) International Camping Congress to open in May

The 2026 China (Jinhua Mountain) International Camping Congress is set for May 16 and 17 at Jinhua Mountain in Jinhua, Zhejiang province. Zhang Yi, vice-chairman of the China International Camping Congress, detailed the event's key activities: a cultural, sports, and tourism integration seminar, an outdoor lifestyle exhibition, and the China Youth Outdoor Sports Tour.

This year's event introduces an innovative model of partnering with top brands to connect manufacturers directly with consumers, making high-end gear accessible. A 2,000-square-meter pet-themed area will be created, featuring activities such as human-pet obstacle races and fashion shows, setting a standard for pet-friendly destinations in the Yangtze River Delta region.

A RV adventure gathering race will be held, inviting 100 RVs to explore Jinhua Mountain. Additional activities throughout the year include hiking trails, a music festival, and a 6D immersive cinema.

Chen Fengqi, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Jinhua Municipal People's Congress, emphasized the mountain's role in vitalizing cultural and tourism consumption through innovative models that combine camping with design creativity, industry, gear sales, and a trade center.

Since becoming the permanent home of the China International Camping Congress in 2024, Jinhua Mountain has enhanced its reputation as an outdoor living destination, said Li Shouwen, executive chairman of the congress.
