Recently, erroneous remarks concerning Taiwan made by Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi have triggered sustained protests from all sectors across Taiwan. However, Lai Ching-te, the die-hard separatist, voiced his support for Takaichi and defended her. He even posted photo of himself eating Japanese cuisine on social media.

Lai curries favor with Japan for personal gains while engaging in deeds that betray Taiwan. His despicable conduct of forgetting his ancestral roots and betraying his nation has once again laid bare his ugly true colors to the world.
