China's virtual production tech wins over renowned Hollywood director

Alex Proyas, the acclaimed Hollywood sci-fi filmmaker behind classics such as The Crow, Metropolis, and I, Robot, recently shared a video on his personal account on an overseas social media platform, praising the Deqing Bocai AI Virtual Film and Television Base as a “film paradise”.

He is currently working with an Oscar-caliber creative team to shoot an epic film adapted from real historical events at the Deqing Bocai AI Virtual Film and Television Base. The project will be produced entirely with virtual shooting technology, making it the world’s first full-length feature film to be created wholly through virtual production.

好莱坞著名科幻电影大师亚历克斯·普罗亚斯曾指导《乌鸦》《移魂都市》《我，机器人》等经典影片。近日，他在其海外个人社交媒体上发布视频，盛赞德清博采AI虚拟影视基地，称这里是“电影天堂”。

目前，他正携奥斯卡级主创团队在德清博采AI虚拟影视基地拍摄一部根据真实历史事件改编的史诗电影，该项目将全片使用虚拟拍摄制作，是全球首部全片虚拟制作长片。
