Qixi romance in a Chinese village

The seventh day of the seventh lunar month marks Qixi Festival, a traditional Chinese celebration often known as Chinese Valentine’s Day.

Iranian visitor, Kavan, joined local residents in Duzhuang village, Liuheng town, Zhoushan, Zhejiang, for an immersive experience of distinctive Qixi customs, getting a closer look at the romance and charm of this traditional Chinese festival.

From Aug 19 to 21, the village hosted a series of Qixi-themed activities, bringing villagers and tourists a festive countryside experience filled with local traditions and cultural charm.
