The 139th China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, opened in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, on April 15, with 1,136 enterprises from Jinhua in Zhejiang province showcasing their strengths across 1,969 booths, marking an unprecedented scale.
The fair covers 1.55 million square meters and features over 32,000 exhibitors, with more than 210,000 pre-registered buyers, reflecting a 20 percent increase from last year.
Innovation is the central theme for Jinhua's delegation, with a diverse range of self-developed products, spanning over 20 sectors such as hardware tools, new energy, smart home products, and textiles. More than 25 percent of the products are new, green, or patented.
"The Canton Fair is vital for obtaining global orders and enhancing our brand image. This year, we are introducing new off-road vehicles and focusing on intelligent, customized motorcycle solutions, aiming for a turnover of 500 million yuan ($73.25 million)," said Pang Qian, general manager of Yongkang Sumeide Industry and Trade.
"The floor cleaning machine industry has seen rapid development recently. As a supplier, we aim to introduce our efficient, low-consumption green products internationally, achieving breakthroughs in environmental protection and energy saving," said Wang Liwei, general manager of Zhejiang Jinhua Kedi Technology.
With innovations like smart mobility devices and energy-saving lighting, Jinhua is poised to meet the diverse, high-quality demands of global buyers, signaling a strong transition from a world factory to a global brand through the Canton Fair.
