2026 China-South Africa Seminar on Human Rights will be held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, on Aug 27. Ahead of the event, South African experts and scholars visited Jinhua and Hangzhou to learn more about exchanges and cooperation between China and African countries and gain firsthand insights into Zhejiang’s progress in advancing human rights. On August 24, they came to Lizu Village in Yiwu to explore the ancient village, study the rural common prosperity initiative and the "agri-preneur" business model, and engage in intangible cultural heritage experiences.
