The 2026 Green Low-Carbon Innovation Conference will be held in Huzhou, Zhejiang province, from Aug 15 to 16. Nearly 200 academicians, experts, and scholars from China and abroad in the green and low-carbon field are expected to attend.
Co-hosted by the China International Science and Technology Exchange Center, the Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology, the CPC Huzhou Municipal Committee, and the Huzhou municipal government, the conference aims to promote green and low-carbon transformation and foster the development of a global ecological civilization.
The conference will feature one main session and a series of activities on green and low-carbon transformation. It will focus on technology application, research outcomes, and international collaboration in green development.
The main session will introduce the China Industrial Green and Low-Carbon Development Technology Blue Book, launch the Zhejiang branch of the International Association of Chinese Professionals in Geographic Information Science (CPGIS), showcase Huzhou's green and low-carbon projects, and include the signing of cooperation agreements.
The themed activities will encompass academic discussions, international exchanges, and initiatives supporting local development. These include efforts to establish the World Society for Carbon Neutrality, technology demonstrations, and industry matchmaking.
