The 2026 Huzhou Future Conference took place on May 20 in Huzhou, Zhejiang province, marking a significant milestone with numerous industrial projects signing agreements to establish operations in the city.
These projects span sectors such as new energy vehicles, semiconductors, biomedicine, high-end equipment manufacturing, modern services, and agriculture.
Huzhou has hosted the Future Conference annually since 2023, maintaining a commitment to high-level openness. The city is focusing on technological innovation in emerging industries, including new-energy aircraft, advanced materials, synthetic biology, and intelligent robotics. This year, 19 AI projects totaling over 4.12 billion yuan ($606.16 million) in investment have been introduced.

The city remains committed to long-term development, strengthening emerging industrial chains in sectors such as new energy vehicles and biomedicine. In the first quarter of this year, manufacturing investment reached 28.3 billion yuan, growing 7.7 percent year-on-year and leading the province.
Huzhou also cultivates a supportive environment for business and innovation, celebrating Huzhou Private Entrepreneurs Day on Nov 1 and hosting regular government-enterprise dialogues.
Recent achievements, including ZXMOTO's motorcycles, powered by Huzhou-based battery supplier Skyrich Power, making waves at the World Superbike Championship, and the launch of the Zhuque-2E Y5 carrier rocket by LandSpace, whose engines were produced in Huzhou, highlight the city's growing industrial prowess.
