In Nanxun district, Huzhou, Zhejiang province, a team of young innovators, averaging in their 30s, is bringing local robotic technology to the international stage.

Operating from Huzhou Motong Intelligent Robot, the team has developed smart dining robots that have secured a contract for the 2032 Brisbane Olympics. The company's comprehensive solutions are also set to be implemented in a smart restaurant project in Queensland, Australia.

Han Liang, the company's general manager, is currently preparing to travel to Australia. A master's graduate in control theory and engineering from Dalian University of Technology, Han has spent over a decade tackling technical challenges in robotic dining automation.

With the simple press of a button, dual robotic arms seamlessly coordinate to grind, extract, and froth milk, brewing a latte with custom latte art in just 90 seconds. The company's flagship "Latte Art Master Series" intelligent coffee robot recently secured orders worth $300,000 at the Canton Fair.

Motong's robots are now sold to over 30 countries and regions. Used in offices, commercial hubs, education, healthcare, and transportation, they are demonstrating the growing role of automation in real-world innovation.

"This year, we'll focus on embodied intelligence, making robots smarter and more responsive and enhancing competitiveness," Han said.
