Zhejiang Chilwee Chuangyuan Industry, a company under Chilwee Group that serves as a China's leading battery maker based in Huzhou, Zhejiang province, is now exporting 1,528 lithium-ion battery units worth about $1 million to South America.

These batteries, designed for high-speed electric motorcycles, mark the company's first shipment to this market in 2026.

Capitalizing on global energy transitions, Changxing county's new energy firms are evolving from exporting single products to providing comprehensive energy solutions.

This shift has driven significant growth in Changxing-based Chilwee Chuangyuan's exports to South America in 2025.

Inside the company's production facility, automated lines assemble 60-volt and 72V lithium battery modules. High-speed electric motorcycles demand superior power and endurance, leading the company to enhance energy density within limited battery space, thus boosting the performance.

"With capacities from 20 ampere-hours to 100Ah, our batteries offer exceptional energy density and endurance, maintaining over 2,000 cycles even under deep discharge, thus addressing key consumer concerns," said Pan Yaoqiang, manager of Chilwee Chuangyuan's PACK technology department.

To ensure reliability in extreme climates, the technical team upgraded the battery architecture for all-weather adaptability. Tests confirm these batteries meet IP67 standards for waterproofing and anti-corrosion, operating reliably between minus 20 degrees Celsius and 55°C.

Huzhou Customs officers have conducted inspections, with a dedicated service team ensuring expedited shipments and compliance with new export policies and stringent packaging requirements.
