Quzhou welcomes spring tea harvest season

The tea fields in Kaihua county, Quzhou, Zhejiang province, have entered the busy spring harvest season, with workers actively picking Kaihua Longding tea.

Kaihua Longding tea, a regional specialty and vital local industry, is planted over a total area of about 71,330 hectares. The tea industry financially supports over 70,000 residents in the county.

In 2025, the total output value of Kaihua's entire tea industry chain reached 3.8 billion yuan ($552.02 million). These small tea leaves have become a major driver of local economic growth, bringing prosperity to many villagers.
