A delegation of 17 members from the Busan branch of the Korea-China Economy and Culture Education Association, led by its president Shin Kyung-sook, visited Taizhou in East China's Zhejiang province from March 26 to 28 to explore the city's economic, cultural, and tourism development and foster friendly exchanges.

During the visit, the delegation toured the Taizhou City Brain Operation Center to learn about the city's achievements in digital transformation. They also visited Guoqing Temple in Tiantai county and explored the tea market of Tiantai Mountain, experiencing the region's rich tea culture, which has long supplied tea to both South Korea and Japan. In Linhai, a county-level city in Taizhou, they visited Zhejiang Huahai Pharmaceutical and explored historical landmarks such as Ziyang Street, appreciating Taizhou's deep cultural heritage.

The delegation found deep resonance between Taizhou's culture of harmony and South Korea's traditions of coexistence.

This year marks the 34th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the ROK. The visit aims to further promote economic, cultural, and educational exchanges between the two countries, deepening mutual understanding and strengthening the friendship between their peoples.
