Nanbei Lake Scenic Area in Haiyan county, Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, showcased its tourism resources at the 41st Seoul International Travel Fair, held from June 4 to 7 in Seoul, South Korea.

As part of Zhejiang's exhibition delegation, Nanbei Lake highlighted its distinctive blend of mountain, sea, and lake landscapes, along with its rich cultural heritage, to international visitors and tourism professionals. The appearance aimed to expand the scenic area's presence in overseas markets and increase its international visibility.

During the exhibition, representatives showcased local tourism resources, answered visitor inquiries, and promoted cultural and leisure experiences available at the destination. The display attracted strong interest from South Korean travelers and industry representatives seeking new tourism opportunities in China.

Nanbei Lake has also been enhancing its international service capabilities through ongoing exchanges with cultural and tourism institutions in South Korea. Efforts include language training and hospitality programs designed to improve services for overseas visitors.

The scenic area has become an increasingly popular destination for South Korean student groups, largely due to its historical connection with Kim Koo, a prominent figure in Korea's independence movement. This year, Nanbei Lake is hosting a series of educational exchange visits involving more than 400 South Korean students, with several groups already completing their programs.
