Ningbo firms eye global growth at Russia expo

Nearly 100 foreign trade professionals from Ningbo are preparing to depart for Moscow, where the MosHome Ningbo 2026 will be held from March 31 to April 3. More than 20 Ningbo enterprises will participate, marking the third time the city has organized a consumer goods fair in Russia.

The initiative comes as traditional export markets face slower growth, rising costs, and increasing uncertainty. For many Ningbo companies, Russia and the wider CIS region have become promising destinations for expanding their market share and boosting demand.

To support this shift, the Ningbo municipal bureau of commerce and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Ningbo Committee have partnered with ITE Group to host a comprehensive home and consumer goods exhibition.

Several companies are returning exhibitors. One home goods manufacturer, which met six professional buyers at last year's event, has upgraded its product displays with more targeted, use-case-driven designs to better appeal to Russian buyers.

Others are newcomers seeking breakthroughs beyond their traditional European and American markets, bringing a wide range of home, pet, and furniture products to test the waters in emerging regions.

This year's expo introduces a new buyer–seller matchmaking center, facilitating one-on-one procurement meetings.
