Several newly upgraded parks have opened to the public in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, transforming previously underused urban land into accessible green spaces.
Qihong Park has been redeveloped from a former grain depot site and now covers about 5.6 hectares. The park features an open lawn, a two-level children's activity area, and a running track. It now serves more than 1,000 nearby residents on average each day.

Xinde Park addresses both parking demand and leisure needs in the surrounding areas. Built above a two-level underground parking facility with more than 670 parking spaces, the park offers about 15,632 square meters of integrated public space. The rooftop parking area has been redesigned into a riverside green park, allowing residents to relax while easing local parking pressure.

In residential neighborhoods, Tulip Pocket Park has turned idle corner land into a compact community green space of about 3,223 sq m. The park includes fitness equipment and shaded rest areas, creating a shared leisure space for nearby residents.
